I'm so happy you're here! My name is Randi May. I'm the owner of Randi May Artistry and would love to share a little bit about who I am as an artist.
When I show up on a wedding morning, my goal is simple: I want you to feel happy, calm, and excited for the day ahead — reassured that everything is taken care of. I’m confident in my work, and I strive to create an environment that feels calm and supportive. This day is about you, and I want you to feel like,
“I’ve got this.”
I’m naturally upbeat and energizing, but I know when to slow things down if nerves start to rise. Brides often tell me I helped soften the moment when the pressure started to feel heavy, bringing a sense of calm that allowed them to relax and enjoy the experience. Creating that sense of ease and trust is justas important to me as the makeup itself.
My approach to bridal makeup is rooted in enhancing your natural beauty and creating results that last. I believe skincare is the most important part of any makeup application, and I tailor every look to the individual — because makeup is never one-size-fits-all. I’ve studied different face shapes, eye shapes, and features, and I use that knowledge to thoughtfully enhance what makes each bride unique. Trends come and go, which is why I continue to invest in ongoing education through both in-person and professional online training to keep my techniques refined, current, and reliable.
Everyone belongs in my chair. I have experience working with clients who have acne, melasma, vitiligo, trichotillomania, eczema, and other skin concerns. My approach is always gentle, respectful, and judgment-free.
I care deeply about the people who sit in my chair, and I never forget how vulnerable that moment can feel.
On a wedding day, I focus on showing up prepared, present, and flexible as things naturally unfold. I dress in all black so the focus stays on the bride, not me, and I genuinely love the excitement and energy of a wedding day.
I believe in working with my brides, not simply for them. I take the time to listen and understand what makes you feel beautiful. While I bring experience and thoughtful guidance to each decision, your comfort always comes first — you will never feel pressured into anything that doesn’t feel right for you.
